Network infrastructure

• Access to internet will be at least 2x 100Mbit with QoS to optimize network usage
• Guest hosts (physical machines) run linux OS (RedHat or equivalent) using Xen or KVM as the virtualization layer
• Virtual hosts run linux OS (RedHat or equivalent)
• Per application virtual machine (VM)
• Storage access to two different storage nodes and mirroring on VM level

Security infrastructure

• Routers: 2x Juniper M10i or 2x Cisco 7200VXR
• Switches: Juniper EX4200 or Cisco 3750
• Firewall: clustered linux based state-full firewall or Juniper SSG520
•  ISP/IDS: IBM proventia, Juniper ISG1000 , or Juniper blades
